Hi,
You cannot install the server tool on a MAC, the server tool needs to be installed on a PC.
Then the XBMC add-on can be used in XBMC on the MAC ... this one will then connect to the Enigma-TV server that runs on a PC.
The setup of this plugin is the same thing as doing the setup on the Android app, so you can use the Android help video for this.
