So you placed VLC in the right place : C:\Users\YourUserName\EnigmaTV\vlc

And no change ?
some others reported this had a good effect and HD channel streams nicelly with the old version.

Will be difficult to help more for this case.

still crashing. It seems to happen when changing the channels. Is it possible to use windows media player instead of vlc ?

Yes, please try the 'old' VLC version I used before and tell me if it works better.
I cannot thest HD channel as I don't have.
I will change the VLC version depending of your test.
Also, when you change the VLC version, Enigma-TV will tell you it is not the right version ... just ignore this message then !

I am using and testing the nightly build of 2.0.5 and will let you know how it goes.

The other issue that I have is that streaming HD on sky 28.2 E channels seems to break and is not stable anything i can do to fix this. On the other hand SD channel is streaming fine.

Ohhh ...
I use VLC Nightly versions for Enigma-TV.
Can you please try to download another version of VLC from here : http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win32/?C=M;O=D

Then, delete the VLC folder under C:\Users\YourUserName\EnigmaTV\vlc
Then, place the new VLC you just downloaded to this location.

Tell me if it bring something, if yes, tell me what version you used.

I can then include this in the next release.

Engima tv crashes very often due to the vlc plugin as above. any way to fix this.
