Internal player in Android app is VitaMio media player.
It is true that it is not as good as MX Player.
This is why I integrated MX Player in the Android app.

Regarding the Server programm, the streaming code hasn't changed in the last few beta tester updates ... so should do the same thing.

Internal player might had issues due to enigma-server crashed at changing profiles.
Suspect that either it kept the stb-connection running or some data was still stored in memory.
After reboot of the server-computer and running Enigma-server without crashing it the stream seems to run fine.
Will try to replicate the issue.

Running latest server Beta now.

Internal player stops after a few minutes when running high bitrate.
Setting a lower bitrate seems to solve the issue.

Still running last server beta.
Will update server tonight.

Dm-crash. Not able to replicate.

Internal Enigma-tv player only plays for a short period before it stops.
MX-Player plays fine but did go out of sync 1time.
Will try again with latest serverversion.

All testing is done on local network using a Samsung Note 3

DM600. Its a no-go at the moment.
Tried a few diffrent images but with same result, cant play the stream. The 500 does it without problems. I do belive this is a clone though.

Will give further update tonight with latest server version.

FYI, I've corrected the problem on profile changes ... the app didn't restarted after switching from profile A to B ...
I will publish it maybe tomorrow.
Lets first check on E1 and if there is nothing to modify on my end then I can share the Beta 7

Regarding the crash on e1 i want to investigate a bit more first so i know im 100% on it.
Seems to happen when changing channel. It times out then connection drops.
Had to reboot enigma when it happend.

But as said. Let me look at it closer first.

Thanks for your feedback Myrmidon.
This is normal that the channel change on the Android device takes time.
It can take up to 30-40 seconds to start as the sequence to catch the channel change + starting a compressed streaming needs this.
On your PC, the app simply stream the full video stream in the app ... so no time required.

On you E1 box, is the AGC signal working ok (look at the bottom of the TV) ? (I've not yet tested on E1 boxes ...)

Crashed on E1 is strange, do you mean your box is crashing or the program ?

OK for the settings simplification ... but in a next release.

Well. Been trying it out for a short time only.
Trying to figure out why it wont work with a dm600 when it works with a dm500...
Anyways.

Ive noticed that it takes alot of time to change channel and start streaming.
The server-sw doesnt take any time at all compared to the Android App.

Might need a tweak to speed it up ?
Its also caused some crashes on E1 recivers but i need to look at this closer if its just a one time thing or if it happends more often.

Suggestion.
Make an easy setting to setup quality for wifi, 3g, 4g or slow connection.
Then move todays video-settings to custom.
But thats just a suggestion, your the boss here ,)
