Hi,

Re-installing .NET 3.5 won't hurt anything ...
Please try this and tell me if it solve the issue.

Hello,

Thank for your response.

Initially no, but I have now un-installed the old app via the control panel, rebooted and installed a fresh version on 2.0.0.4 and unfortunately still no joy (same error).

I am running .net 4.5 as I have built programs on this platform - will reinstalling 3.5 cause me issues?

Yes - Anti-virus was all deactivated.

Hi,

Did you try to fully uninstall the app via the control panel ?
Also try to re-install .Net Framework 3.5
And De-activated any anti-virus.

Honestly I never saw this error before.

V2.0.0.4 update error

Hello,

Is anyone else getting an issue with updating to V2.0.0.4?

Please see the image attached.

Th update starts running and downloads the video package, then the Web package, but then crashes while Extracting Zip File (6 of 32) files...(E2Plgin/E20E16/) and displays an Error message box stating:

The application cannot start, error message is:Failed to return a short path

And then closes when I click OK.

I am running window 7 64 bit and had no issues prior to the update.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
