Hi,

Strange, the ports should come back to green color when the internet control is disabled ...
Check if the mongoose server is closed after you disabled the internet control ( the 'm' in the task bar should disapear)

About the TV size, no, it is designed like this.
But on your Android device you can zoom in the web interface, so enlarge the TV by this way.
On a PC it is not possible ...

Best regards,

Sebastien

I already had all needed ports open, but still had no luck.
This morning I tried different things and had no luck at all.
Until suddenly I had connection and image.

So that part is working fine.

Only having 2 questions.

First: As soon as I Close Internet control on your tool, Local Stream Port becomes orange.
That means that this port is closed??

Only way to open it again is changing Local and external to 8081.
Open the internet control, close i again and then change it back to 8080. Then it stays green and i am able to stream again.

Second question:
Streaming is using a flash player.
At this moment we are only able to choose between two sizes. Normal and full screen.
Any chance this will be changed in the future?
I would like to have a bigger image , but NOT fulls screen.

Hello,

That can be explained
First, on your iPhone the video format is not the same than on a PC :
- iPhone use segmented files shared on the same port than the web interface, that's why you can see TV !
- Any other devices (not Apple) will use Flash video, this media type is streamed using another port (that you have defined in Enigma-TV)

And regarding you remark about iOS 6.1, YES they corrected a bug in Safari !!! Now Enigma-TV works with Safari also. (there was a javascript engine bug in iOS 6.0 ...)

So, to enable watching the TV on another PC, you have do define the VIDEO port forwarding in your router, so that Enigma-TV can find the stream over internet.

I hope that you understand what I explain, otherwise please watch the help videos on the web site.

Best regards,

Sev:

I just installed this great piece of software and configurated everything to stream on internet.
At this point I am able to watch my channels using my Safari on my Iphone with iOS6.1

But if I want to watch this same stream on a Windows PC using Forefox I get next message:

VIDEO NOT FOUND OF ACCES DENIED.

Click to see original Image in a new window

Strange because with my iphone I do not have ant problem.

Sebastian,
I finally got it to work. The problem was the ports, 80-8080 and 85-8085 did not work either. I used some other ports and it works.
Thanks for you help!

Hi,

The setup seems correct in Enigma-TV except the port range that is not standard for web & video ... maybe those are just forbidden regarding your 3G ISP ...
So, first try to change those ports by :
80 for the web
8080 for the video
if those are still used, then try :
85 for the web
8085 for the video

Then tell me.

Best regards,

Dear Sebastian,

You are right 3G gets a direct ip. 3G is a dialup and you cannot forward any ports, but any application that opens a port it automatically opens the same port on the WAN ip. As I mentioned before Enigma opens the Web port fine but when its trying to open the stream port when you are selecting a channel from the web interface (even though the stream port turns blue) I get the following response "video not found or access denied". Could you please check if its something else(maybe with Enigma) or do you have any other suggestions.
When I use IOS its working ok but streaming gets disconnected very often.
By the way I have disabled all firewalls on my Windows XP but with no luck.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Using a 3G stick gives you a dedicated IP that cannot be controled into your router ... that's why you cannot redirect ports using your router.
Try to find if there is an option in your 3G stick to do port forwarding.
