About the EPG, 'yes' you are right and 'yes' this is how it works ...
Before a channel change, the box do not get the EPG ... so this is the reason why a first channel change is needed (then the box collect the EPG and the program generate the EPG XML for the client tools).

I also made lots of tests and since this Beta2, I have some issues with channel changes on Android and iOS apps !
It's like the channel is changing and then when I switch to another channel, the Server tool triggers a simple channel change without streaming (but in fact the server tool is in Internet Control listen mode).
-> My channel switch time is set to 2 seconds.
So I think I de-synchronized something in my last code change.
I will work on this tomorrow (to tired tonight, I need to sleep a bit )

Please try to reproduce this issue ...

First impressions with V. 2.0.0.4 Beta 2:

No problems in setting up in Windows. Repeating the setup no problem for me.

Works very well from Android now. I ahve done around 40-50 channel changes with zap delay set to 0,2, and they all worked perfectly.

I notice a slight delay in audio vs video to Android, breaking the audio sync.

EPG does not show up in Android before at least one channel has been played, then doing a refresh of EPG. No problem for me, though. I just now noticed that a long press on a channel in the channel list will bring up the long EPG-text in a box. Nice touch!

I will have to leave my boxes for now, but I will try to do some more testing tomorrow.

Hi,

Thanks to all the Beta Testers for reporting me the bugs found on the Beta1 release.

I'm now working harldy on a Beta2 that will (I hope) be released this week.

Reported bugs :

- Issue when changing channels :
The STB get scrambled and crash from time to time.
I found that this was due to the channel change command being sent to early to the STB between 2 channels change.
I added a new option in the settings where the user can set the time in seconds before the ZAP command is sent to the STB when a channel change is made.
Depending on the STB this varies, but I think 2 seconds is a good set !

- Issue with Web Server (ZaZouMiniWebServer) :
Getting errors on some systems when the server is starting.
OK, here I re-implemented the Mongoose server but also let the choice to use the ZaZouMiniWebServer.
Simple option to check at any time to switch between the 2 available web servers.

- Settings not retained on new release :
This is due to this fuc..ng .net my.settings not happy when the some settings are added or removed between releases !
So I got this fully AWAY !
I replaced this by an own class that I specially programmed for the tool.
For this next release, yes users will have to redoo the setup ... but this will be the last time !
Now all settings are saved in a XML file per profile.
This also eliminate auto-start on Windows startup as the setting XML file is no more attached to a user but is located in the c:\EnigmaTV\config directory and so can be shared to any users.

- Bug in the Recording function :
When the TV is set to OFF then the recording never start !
This is corrected and function has been enhanced.

- Mini-TV has been reviewed, EPG + volume adjustement + audio track selection has been added !
