Hi,

If your image doesn't manage users credentials then Enigma-TV should be able to connect fine ...
This is a very strange case.

HI Sebastien,

One final question on this topic hopefully!

I believe the issue to be that the image does not have a set password and it looks like your software tries to match the password.

Is there anything that you could please do so that the software will accept a password that does not match up, like my ftp login does.

Thanks again Sebastien,

The image removes the default password, although you can add it back. Which I have done and also accessed the Dreambox via Ftp.

Hi,

Sorry but if the image is Enigma1 or Enigma2 standards then it should work.
Did you maybe forgot User & Password after giving the IP of you box ?
The default User is 'root' and the default password is 'dreambox'.

If that doesn't work then I cannot do more, sorry.

Hi Sébastien,

Sorry still not getting any joy here. I can access the image via a web browser but not the ip on Enigma.

The reason I like this image is that it looks neat and also updates the channels etc here in the UK automatically.

Also I can connect to the box via ftp.

Sorry but do you mind taking a look at the image please?

Hi,

I don't know this image ... if you can access the WebIF (from a webbrowser) then the image should also work with Enigma-TV.
If not, then I can't help you and I would advice you to check with the image team.

Unable to access Dreambox 500 with Commando image

I have recently installed an image called Commando 15. The image is very good but now I am unable to access the Dreambox, although I have set the password to be the default via ftp as well.

I would really like to resolve this issue so that I can upgrade to use on my tablet.
