Hi,

I will maybe add an option in the tool itself to start a new process after it is started.
That should fix your request.

Best regards,

Ok, so you confirm Enigma-TV is minimized after its start.

Yes, it does mimimize after a while.

Your problem is that you loose XBMC focus ... and I suppose you want to keep XMBC focus because you want to controlit via a remote control?

Correct.

Adding an option to lose the focus on Enigma-TV when started ?

In my casus this will not help (XBMC is already minimized because it's lost focus)

Or maybe adding an option in Enigma-TV to call another process (like XBMC) when the tool has finished starting ?

Yes a configurable command, executed after Enigma TV is ready, would be a nice addition!
This gives me the empowerment to regain control over XBMC.

What kind of solution would you suggest to handle this ?

Since I don't need the Enigma TV interface after configuring:
Start Enigma TV as a service, make the settings available by the webserver, or a separate executable.

Hi,

Ok, so you confirm Enigma-TV is minimized after its start.
The process that the tool is first displayed is 'normal' ... it is wanted to minimize it just after it is launched.
Your problem is that you loose XBMC focus ... and I suppose you want to keep XMBC focus because you want to controlit via a remote control or something ?

Hi. With the Startup minimized option enebled, Enigma TV does appear with a sequnce of two windows:
1. Launching application (small window which closes)
2a. Enigma TV (2.0.0.1) (big white window, connecting...)
2b. Enigma TV (2.0.0.1) Connected (main Enigma TV gui)
The connected main window then minimizes to the taskbar.

In reply to your question: yes I am loosing focus of XBMC, when both XBMC and Enigma TV are configured to start on Windows startup.

Hi,

After starting minimized, Enigma-TV should no more appear on your screen so why this question ?
Are you saying that you loose the focus in XBMC ?

Best regards,

Hi, I would like to start up Enigma TV minimized at the background on my Windows 7 x64 box with XBMC.
I did tick the startup minimized option, but the click-once connection window takes over the focus of my full screen XBMC window. Enigma TV ends up minimizing afterwards leaving me the desktop.

Since I want to interact with XBMC, not the Windows desktop nor Enigma TV, is it possible to start in Enigma TV in the background?
