I can read that this new PI2 can have Windows 10 installed on it, the my answer is YES WE WILL HAVE an Enigma-TV Server physical box soon

I now have to check how I can get such a box, buy it and work !
The idea is to have a image ready to install on the PI2 so that anybody can buy this little device and install the PI Enigma-TV Server image on it.
For now it is just a dream but I will work on it !!!

YES, doing it withing a VM will work !!!
I did it on a MAC using Virtual Box, then running a Windows7 (Xp and 8 also works) ... then in this emulated Windows, I installed Enigma-TV as you mentionned and it works great !

So I suppose it will be the same on Linux !

Looks like this is the closest I've got to my question - can I run Enigma-TV under Linux?

What I've done:
Downloaded and installed Enigma-TV on a Windows 7 PC, ran it once to check everything was working, install licence etc., then copy the install directory (nice and easy path: 'C:/EnigmaTV') onto my Linux PC (Linuxmint 64bit on an Acer P253-E laptop).

Then I tried running it under WINE and got an immediate error (see attached).

My next step will be to setup a VM from which I'm guessing it will run fine...I'll let you know.

I've attached the backtrace text foir the error if anyone is interested.

As you see, nobody came with any successfull tests.
I check on my side also and all what I found were people doing like a 'remote desktop' connection from their PI node to another powerfull computer.
So, for me PI is not powerfull enough to run an OS like Windows ... and for sure not Enigma-TV.

But maybe a good new : I'm working on a XBMC plugin to control Enigma-TV !
And from what I know, XBMC can be installed on a PI node, so maybe the plugin will work on it also (not yet tested ...)
