I've been doing some testing here and I've had no problems streaming at 4000kbps at 100%

I have a 30Mbit upload and the external test location has a 100Mbit download so everything seems to stream well.

When I changed the settings down to 1500kbps at 50% my dad said he didn't notice any difference in the quality. That was streaming ITV HD

So what would be the best setting for streaming HD?

Hi,

The stream settings have to be used based on your own experience.
Usually I recommand to used 250kbps video bitrate, scale 50%, 64kbps audio bitrate.
That still give a good video quality on a smartphone and streams well over 3G.
For Android device, use MXPlayer as player in Enigma-TV client app and activate the HW drivers in MXPlayer, then you will have a very good video quality.

Just thought I'd post to say hi and great job on the software. It's work perfectly with my VU+ Solo2.

Is there a guide that would explain how Video Bitrate, video Scale and Deinterlacing affect video stream?
