Hi,

Can you please explain why I am not able to use a
newer vlc player instead of the default one. I have windows 8.1 with dm8000.

When I use the web tv I get no issue with the latest player on my
laptop. but when I use Enigma tv I get a black screen.
I rename the old one while adding the new one as vlc in
the C:\Users\usename\EnigmaTV folder. Any idea what can be the reason?

With the previous version it has worked fine. Also I have
unchecked to check vlc on startup.

What I mean to say.. There is was no option to change the channel or the bouquets since there is no 2 drop down selection option when in full screen mode. It is only possible with vlc high than 2.0.x not with 1.1.x versions.

I have just re-tested it and maybe I have over looked at it. The drop down option is there. I do not know what I was thinking. case closed.

The option to change the channel is not there when using vlc 1.1.11 version in full screen mode. Any way to fix this?

Other newer version has that option. I find this version to be very stable and does not crash when changing channel with my elitebook 8540w with win7 SP1 x64 system.

still crashing. It seems to happen when changing the channels. Is it possible to use windows media player instead of vlc ?

Also for HD it is still the issue.

I am using and testing the nightly build of 2.0.5 and will let you know how it goes.

The other issue that I have is that streaming HD on sky 28.2 E channels seems to break and is not stable anything i can do to fix this. On the other hand SD channel is streaming fine.

Engima tv crashes very often due to the vlc plugin as above. any way to fix this.
