So the stream starts from Enigma-TV finally or does it continue to crash ?
It is normal that the web page required Flashplayer ... VLC is not used to read the stream, but the JWplayer using flash.
VLC is only needed for stream conversion in flv format.
So this need to be fixed first on your computer otherwise you will never be able to stream anything.
Have you tried to stream a media directly by using VLC ? does this also crash VLC ?
Find another PC to make another test there ...

Hi, changed the version of libx264 but this did not seem to work, so went back to original file, what I have noticed
is that when Enigma tv opens the web page in Chrome it uses Flashplayer not VLC, if I disable Flashplayer in chrome
the Enigma tv web page streams when play is pressed, but instead of showing the stream it tries to download it as a file,

I think I will remove everything and re-install from the beginning.

Ohhh that seems to be related to the X264 dll from VLC ...
Strange that it crash on your computer, works perfect on mine and also on many others ...
Have you changed something in VLC folder within the app ?

The directory where the dedicated VLC version for Enigma-TV is stored is here :
C:\Users\YourUserName\EnigmaTV\vlc\

Into this folder you can try to put another VLC version, I used a VLC Nightly version (http://nightlies.videolan.org/) that should not interract with your default VLC version (if you have one still installed).
Well, try another version (just replace what is into the vlc folder by the version of your choice) and tell us if it solve the problem.
if you use x264 I suppose you stream on an Android or a PC ... not a Iphone or Ipad ... then you can use any type of VLC I think.

Do you have another PC to check if you get the same problem ?
The blue ports is normal, it tells the tool is using them.
Try to check on another computer to see if it is somerhing in the computer setup that cause this crash.

Cannot get Web streaming to work for some reason,
Set up Enigma TV and router as per video
When I try to open Web browser local or public I get log-on screen OK, Select Provider then
Channel then I get "Enigma TV has encountered a problem and needs to close" after clicking on don't send I get
Enigma TV has crashed and will restart.
Enigma TV restarts and I then get Video not found or access denied.
I've been at this for 2 days with no luck So any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

Only other clue is the local web port box is highlighted in blue
