Ok, please also post your router settings + the Enigma-TV settings.
Sometimes, even if the settings are correct, it can be that your DSL provider blocks some ports (maybe, maybe not).
Sometimes some router models don't do the jobs they should do ... lets hope it is not the case. You can also try to reboot the router or chnage the firmware to the latest version.
Check on the web if people also have port forwarding issues with your router model (NAT).

hi mate,

ive been trying to setup my connection. but cant seem to connect to the web control using the public ip.. internal ip works brilliant .. soo i sett 2 rules on port forwarding

my pc : 192.168.2.114 port range 80 - 80
my pc: 192.168.2.114 port range 8080 - 8080

am i missing something if yes can you please help ?

Hi,

Your router settings are false.

Delete the existing rule.
Then create 2 new rules like :

Rule 1
Name = Enigma-TV Web
Start Port = 80
End Port = 80
Protocol = TCP
IP = 192.168.0.4 -> this must be the IP of your PC, not the IP of your Dreambox.

Rule 2
Name = Enigma-TV Stream
Start Port = 8080
End Port = 8080
Protocol = TCP
IP = 192.168.0.4

Then you can access the web media player using your public IP address like : http://YourPublicIP:80

i just put all settings back to normal, ie. port settings at 8080 and 80 also forwarded port 80 on my router. it was working fine the other night but not now. tried reinstalling my image back to my box incase id changed something on that but still the same. so basicly the settings on enigma-tv are default and on the router port 80 is forwarded

for some reason when i connect from a public connection i see the boxs web control page instead on the enigma tv page. any ideas why?
