There is images that are not installing all the libraries necessaries, I would consider these images as amateur images. So it's your job to add the libraries that are missing. Most images will work straight, but some image builders are not with the logic of "open source code" and you have exactly such problems with missing parts or incompatible parts.

I take your remarks.
Other users point issue on the E2 plugin.
This is due to differences between images and embedded libraries.
This plugin has been developped on a Dreambox 500HD with NewNigma2 image.
Tests on OpenBlackHole also works fine.
I will see what I can do.
This week I will get a gigaBlue sat receiver that has problem to run the plugin, I will first start with this one.

I will open a special post for this as soon I have results and more to say.

Will this plugin work with a VIX image?

When trying to install, it claims dependency gst-plugin-flv is not installed but gst-plugins-good-flv is installed with the image.

I tried to install gst-plugin-flv_0.10.27-r0.0.mipsel but then there are dependencies of that missing: libgobject-2.0-0, libgmodule-2.0-0 and libgthread-2.0-0 all >= 2.22.4 required.
