I dont like the sound of opening the http port 80 on my pc can i use the port i selected?

You need to setup your router, look for the port forwarding option in there.
First take common ports like 80 for the web and 8080 for the stream ... Not the special port your selected ...
Then in this port forwarding menu on your router, you need to indicated the following rules :
Forward public web port 80 to the local PC IP 192.168.1.22 on local port 80
Forward public stream port 8080 to the local PC IP 192.168.1.22 on local stream port 8080

Do you understand ?

When this is done, you can access from outside using your DSL public IP.

When you says cofigured fro web stream outside my home, I suppose you did the router settings right ?
Can you please post the Enigma-TV settings and your router settings ?

I would like some help setting up the web server. I have enigmatv installed on my pc and my dreambox and configured for web stream outside my home but when i try and connect from another network it says connection failed. Would appreciate some help on this! Thanks in advance.
