The Dreambox AND the Enigma-TV Server MUST be on the same local network. Then by activating the ´Internet Control Mode' you can access it using any Enigma-TV Client tool. This is the design of this project. Other ways of using it may not work.
When I first installed enigma last year, I was using it on the same network as the dreambox and it was working perfectly. Now i'm trying to use it from another location, i'm connected to the dreambox, the channel lists are loaded but the screen is black and both bars on the bottom side AGC and SNR are quckly filling and empting for about 2 seconds, and after that I receive the lost video, try reconnect message.
The Dreambox and the Enigma-TV server tool are on the same network in you house right ? So this is not related to your Internet connection speed. Tell me more about how you try using the tool.
Hello Sebastien, I've managed to set up the connection, it's ok now. I have another issue, I am receiving message "lost video. trying to reconnect..." Is it possible that maybe my internet connection strength is weak? I have 25 mbps download and 1 mbps upload limit on my connection. If so, can you please tell me which is the minimum and recommended internet speed connection?
