It works as you described, not as a pure service.
it is not planed to include this option, to much changes to apply ...

I have recently bought the application and so far all is ok, I just need to fine tune some stuff.

Q: Is it possible to start Enigma-TV as a service ?

I have enabled Enigma-TV to auto start with windows (Windows 7 x64 for me) and it works but only after you have entered the uderid and password without the user credentials it will not start.
Guess this is because Enigma-TV is in the auto start and this works only after the login credentials are entere.d
