Sure, the app don't work that way. The best I can advice you is forst to watch the help videos (see in the menu of this web site). You will then understand that you need the Enigma-TV SERVER running on a PC. This Enigma-TV SERVER will be a bridge in between your VU+ and all of your client application (KODI, Android, Apple devices). This is to use the power of a PC to manage video stream transcoding in an efficient manner. You will be able to watch TV outside of your house even if you have a poor upload or a poor bandwich on your client device.
FYI, the KODI app setup is like the Android setup ... there is no help video for KODI.
Also, new versions of Server & client apps will come out in the next weeks ...
I am running Enigma-TV on Kodi on a PC. I have a Vu+ Duo2 receiver, running in secure server mode.
I have entered the following details:
IP Address: 192.168.1.88 (my Vu+ Duo2's internal IP address) Web Port: 443 (because I'm using https for the Web Client) Stream Port: 8001 Password: xxxxxxx (My root password for the Vu+)
I keep getting a server error message and a dialog box asking me to check the settings. Where am I going wrong?
