Hi,
I have mostly sorted the problem now
I have a cable modem/router. My network router plugs into that.

I have changed the settings on the cable modem to be just a modem and not both. (default settings) and it now works connects straight away on both the local and public interfaces

Getting there....
Many thanks for your help and time

Peter

Hi,
The local web interface works fine.
The public web interface does not work.

I have disabled the firewall.

I get Internet Explorer cannot display the web page

•Internet connectivity has been lost.
•The website is temporarily unavailable.
•The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
•The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
•There might be a typing error in the address.
•If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.

Any ideas?

Thanks
