I just followed the steps mentioned below for using V3.7.
When I start Enigma TV , mongoose 3.7 is starting with it.

But now I am no longer able to log in using the Web Media Player.
System keeps refusing my password.

Already deleted my settings and done it all over again but still password is refused

Any idea why?

It will be included on next release, I still have to include other stuff but the I will release.
We are also working on an Android & iPhone 'real' application and I can't say when it will be finished and so I also hesitate if I will release a new version before this is ready or not ...
But I can still tell you that Mongoose 3.7 is implemented in the development version on my PC and it works very nice.
What I did is creating the .conf file based on the Enigma-TV settings ... so the tool manage the web server as before. (see my previous post)

If I remember well I installed Mongoose 3.7 as follows:
1) First start up Enigma TV (otherwise it will overwrite the Mongoose file);
2) Replace de existing Mongoose file in the Enigma TV folder by the Mongoose 3.7 and rename it to the same name as the exisiting;
3) In the options (right click on Mongoose 3.7 icon) introduce the same settings as in the configuration file of the actual Mongoose.
=> Good result with fast response, and after leaving and re-entering Enigma TV, it will keep onusing the new Mongoose 3.7.
=> When will the Mongoose 3.7 be introduced as a standard in Enigma TV?

Hello Guys,

I played with Mongoose 3.7 and fully implemented it in the Enigma-TV tool.
I had some issues at the beginning because it has another setup interface having default options in it.
Now Enigma-TV build the mongoose.conf each time the web server is started (before it has sent the parameters as arguments to the mongoose exe file ...)

AND YOU ARE RIGHT, super faster !!!

I will publish in the next release.

did you just stopped the current version and started the 3.7, then you changed the parameters ?

Question : how did you change the setup as it is coded in Enigma-TV to control the mongoose web server ... did you started it manually and enterred some parameters somewhere ?
Can you explain so I can perform the same tests than you before to implement into the tool ?

I had problems with the access (time) to the webinterface:
very long logon times (>60 sec), very long zap times (>60 sec)!
Now I replaced the mongoose webserver with version 3.7 (and adapted the configuration settings accordingly).
=> Result, logon and zap times strongly reduced:
Logon: immediatly; zap: 10-15 sec.
So, my suggestion is to implement in the next release this latest Mongoose version.
