Hi,

Honestly for 1080p I really don't know the minimum requirements.
I tested on an old IBM laptop with simple Intel 1,3 Hgz processor and it works good with SD channel transcoding.
As client tool, you can also use a 'mini Android' device.

Best regards,

Hi Sebastien,

i would like to buy a mini pc, like intel nuc or zotac to use it as a transcoding machine for streaming 1080p (hd channels) from dreambox via enigma-tv. As i dont want to run all the time my PC which takes more Watt as a mini pc...which is the minimum requirement of the mini pc to be able to transcode a 1080p stream? I know it should have Windows OS. There are a lots of CPUs like i3 or AMD A4-5000 Quad-Core...a dual-core below 2,6ghz cannot transcode properly a 1080p, is that right?

As client i would like to use a raspberry pi with xbmc or android with enigma-tv of course ;)

Please let me know how to solve this as i really dont want to run my PC all the time.

Thanks
