I see tha happens to some people ... I will add a routine to automatically clean the timer xml file for outdated timers. I will bring this to the next release.
I had the exact issue , the cause is when to many timers are added, i ftp;d to /etc/enigma2 and emptied the timers.xml file then rebooted receiver and application all is wel
The previous version ran on your XP you said ... Do the new one also run on your XP ??? About the app on your new Vista, give more details about the issues you found. Post pictures to demonstrate the issue. It is difficult for me to debug with those little info.
Hello, I have downloaded the new version and installed it on my new pc running vista howevere now the video stops and starts, where as the old version ran great on my xp pc, any ideas ?
For others : if you have some old timers referenced in the timers list ... please delete them using you STB directly. Having this, Enigma-TV went into a loop because it tried to delete each old timers ... and after each delete, it refresh the timers list with the actual ones ... and as the old one were never deleted then it always tried to delete and refresh, etc ... went into a loop ! That was the bug in this case, but I have to review why my app wasn't able to remove them by its own way.
I have modified something in source code. I need to test it on your computer. Please check your Email (the one you used to register to the forum). Then contact me.
