Try to type a password, even if you don't use it !
You have user = root
Then type any password like = dreambox

In the stream URL, the string is not built properly because of the missing password ...

I have to correct this in the next release, not to have this confusion anymore.

I set EnigmaTV to debug mode. Here is the reported log sequence from an attempt to 'reconnect':

As you can see, I don't have a password set - but then I never did with the Vu+ Uno either (and I had a dual tuner module installed in that, so it was 'multi tuner' also).

NewNigma2 doesn't seem to support the Atemio Nemesis yet, so I couldn't try that image. But I will try the other images I've downloaded, and see if I have any success with any of those.

I hadn't mentioned that the image I have been running is 'Egami for Atemio Nemesis' (which allows multi-boot). I haven't used that function, yet. but I have set up downloading OpenATV, OpenMIPS, And Italysat images overnight, and I will test another image tomorrow and let you know what happens.

All your settings looks ok ... so we have to find another way to make this working.
Could you try another image ?
NewNigma2 is an image that I'm sure works 100% ok with Enigma-TV.
You can also test OpenATV.

Sorry to ask you all that stuff but I want to be sure the issue is not coming from my tool ...

I tried the VLC 'trick' - unfortunately it hasn't worked.

The version of the VLC ZIP file was 2.1.5 - after restarting EnigmaTV a pop up saying the version of VLC installed was not supported, did I want to continue?
I did continue... and no, still the same problem.
Restarted EnigmaTV again and received the same message, this time I said 'no' I did
not want to continue, and EnigmaTV downloaded "Video Engine (VLC) WIN32 02-May-2012 package".
Restart again... still no TV.

I note it downloaded 'WIN32' and my Windows is 7 64Bit. Is that right?

In deperation I wonder if EnigmaTV utilise any of these functions in my Nemesis:
Samba, DropBear SSH, NPS, FTP, Mini DNLA, Inadyn, uShare, Telnet - all of which have parameters to set if needed.

Webif settings are:
OpenWebInterface Enabled = yes
Show box name in header = yes
HTTP port = 00080
Enable HTTP authentication = no
Enable HTTPS = yes
HTTPS port = 00443
Require client cert for HTTPS = no
Smart Services renaming for XBMC = no
Enable parental control = no
Add service name to stream information = yes

That is where I am. Any further guidance would be appreciated.

Hi,

I trick that I got from a user having the same issue than you :
Go to the VLC web site and download the latest version as ZIP file (not the installer !!!)
Unzip-all over the existing C:\Enigma TV\VLC folder ... that will ask you to replace existing files -> say yes for all files !
That will update some files but let the encoder in place.

Let me know if ths fix your issue.
