Sébastien

when you say "PC(local)" do you mean the local IP address of the "remote" PC ?
It sounds much more reasonable to me...

I'll try something today

Best regards

Mariolone

kk7712 and Sébastien
First of all thanks to all of you !

Sébastien I have only one last question: You say I must redirect the IP of the PC and you add (local)...
Why local ?

When I'll try to connect with a PC in a remote situation, the PC in local (its reasonable) will be off (its unusefull); the remote PC instead will have a totally different IP...
I cant understand, I am very sorry...

Is it perhaps necessary that a local PC is always running to be able to connect from remote ?

Hi,

Thanks KK7712 that you can assist as I don't understan Italian

Mariolone, now I understand why it doesn't work from outside ... as you just showed your router is not set up !!!
AND NO, you do not have to redirect your Dreambox IP !!! BUT your PC IP !!!
So, to do a proper setting you need to redirect the PC (local) web & stream port to outside.

Lets imagine your PC IP is 192.168.1.3
You selected external web port as 85
You selected internal web port as 95
You selected external stream port as 8085
You selected internal stream port as 8095

What you will tell to your router is :
Redirect EXTERNAL PORT 85 on IP 192.168.1.3 (your PC) on INTERNAL PORT 95
and
Redirect EXTERNAL PORT 8085 on IP 192.168.1.3 (your PC) on INTERNAL PORT 8095

OK ?

KK7712 will for sure help you to enter this in your router.

Best regards,

Thanks a lot...I'll try tomorrow because I am remote now...

When you say "qui metti l'IP del tuo PC" is it the "192.168.1.22" I gave as an example ? Infact That is not the IP of my PC, but is the IP of the decoder connected with the Modem/Router via WiFi.

And finally: which is the internal port and the external port I has to open ?

Thanks again

Mariolone

First question:You say that you can connect locally ... with what ?? With Enigma-TV (the tool on your PC) or with the web interface from Enigma-TV ?
If you carefully read my previous messages, I have already answered this question: I always can connect AND browse either using Enigma TV program (of course installed on a local PC) writing the correct IP on the related box of Enigma parameters OR opening a normal Browser , writing the same IP and connecting without any problem.Only Locally of course.

So, as I can connect locally, you say I have to redirect the local Ports of my Modem/Router to outside.

I am giving you a screen shot of the "Port Mapping" screen of my Modem.

Supposing the correct address is: 192.168.1.22 (its not, but you dont care), what do I have to do (in details please) because I have never done this before.

Thanks in advance

Mariolone

Hi,

I'm there ... sorry not to serve you in the minute ...
I also work during the day and have a familly life.
I do my best to help people but please stay cool !

So, now lets analyze your problem :
- You say that you can connect locally ... with what ?? With Enigma-TV (the tool on your PC) or with the web interface from Enigma-TV ?
- If you can connect locally, then you need to setup your router to redirect the local ports to outside.

Please post some pictures so I can see what you are trying to do.
I will help you then.

Best regards,

Nobody answers...

Sébastien disappared...

No Manual found...

Videos dont say ANYTHING about the possibility that you cannot connect "remotely" and what to do (or check) if this happens...

Is this program Enigma TV (and this Forum) a HUGE fake ???

At the moment is only a reasonable suspect...

Summarising: "Locally" (using a different PC) I can connect to the decoder AND browse either using Enigma TV or a normal browser using the same IP...

"Remotely" with a different PC, but using the same program AND IP, it DOESNT connect

When I am local of course I am connected using the same WiFi Net (Router, connected to Internet via ADSL) used by the decoder...
