It's a pity... What's a pc server for? It's almost unuseful this... You have to run 24/24h 7/7day a PC... Instead, a NAS server is the best way to enjoy Enigmatv server because the NAS server is always on, native, 24/24h. Look at PLEX server how smart is, running on Synology server as well. We can't have a PC always on just for Enigmatv server, don't you find? Think about...
Thanks.

Sebastien,
Thank you for your answer.
It is only for SD channels.

I wil buy one and set this up as 24/7 server to watch tv abroad.

Hi Rafiek,

This is OK for the server tool to run properly.
On SD channels transcoding will be good but on HD channels it could be freezing, but anyway HD channels requires a lot of CPU to transcode.
Watching SD or HD channel on the PC directly will be ok. (without transcoding)

Best regards,

Dear Sebastien,
What are the minimum specs for a windows pc?
I was thinking of buying a thin client HP T5730 with AMD Sempron 2100+ @ 1 GHz

will this do the job?

Thanks.

Hi,

Muiz, this cannot be done !
There is not enough CPU & RAM on a NAS to run such an app ...
Even on the newest STB's having more than 1Ghz CPU the compressed stream function doesn't work well.
This is the reason why you need a computer to run the tool.

Best regards,

Is there no one on this forum who knows how to make an app that you can run on a NAS?
cause when the server runs on a PC, the PC has to be on.
And thats not always the case, and more expensive then a NAS. And a NAs is on 24/7.

I realy hope someone else is having the same idea as me...
